Ingredients
  • 1 Tbs onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbs butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbs all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp dill weed
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup Cream
  • ¼ cup White Wine, (Optional)
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add ¼ Cup of wine and continue to saute until wine is reduced to approximately half.
  2. Stir in flour, dill, salt, and pepper until blended.
  3. Gradually add cream and then the milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
