Ingredients
  • 8 medium Potatoes
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp White pepper
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg, Grated
  • 1 cup Milk, Scalded
  • 1 cup Light cream
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • ¼ cup Swiss Cheese, Grated
Instructions
  1. Peel potatoes and cut into slices approximately ¼-inch thick. In a bowl, combine potatoes, salt, pepper, nutmeg, milk, cream, egg, and grated cheese. Turn mixture into a buttered baking dish. Dot with butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender and top is browned. Serve hot.
