Ingredients
  • 500 g button mushrooms, whole
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
Instructions
  1. Place mushrooms into a large ceramic, glass or plastic bowl.
  2. Combine two thirds of oil, cardamom, pepper, nutmeg, cumin, coriander and
  3. turmeric in a small jug.
  4. Pour mixture over mushrooms and toss well to coat mushrooms in mixture.
  5. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
  6. Heat a wok over high heat until hot.
  7. Add remaining oil and mushrooms and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until
  8. golden and just tender.
  9. Serve hot.
